Today I extended
the gift of college level marker indication to my 6 year old boy
and his 4 friends who are all about the mighty
Kung-Zhu warrior hamster. At the Kung-Zhu website their
highly accomplished K-Z warrior vehicle artist(s) have created and
published some super slick illustrations of the K-Z W-V collection
and today I taught the boys how to trace and draw their favourites
from the digital screen onto paper using the china marker I drew
imagery on my litho stones with at WVU.
(While you're at www.kungzhu.com,
be sure to check out the commercials! They are the ultimate
in commercial art, animation and Kung-zhu warrior hamster action!)
3 of the 5 boys drew
one. I drew one, too. The boys learned how to draw at college level today!
We printed out their tracings and made colouring pages which they
are sharing among themselves for hours of Kung-Zhu warrior drawing
and colouring portfolio development. I am hoping they will take this experience forward with them so
they will strive to do great things with their developing artistic
skills and talents. Maybe one day they will arrive at
college with skills to draw from!

It
was amazing to watch each of their little hands trace out the
picture, then fill it in with all that colour. They even
added motion indicator lines for tough K-Z W-V combat
action! They all did a great job of illustrating the
Kung-Zhu warrior hamster inside the vehicle!
